Garage Walkway
While we were pouring mortar for the chimney, I had another job on the ground that it made sense to do. For the last 2 years we were walking over planks to get in the back door. Elaine called it the mote.

I cut back the driveway and set in the form.
A helper mixed concrete while I floated the surface.

Since the mixer was small, the pour took 3 hours to complete.
The raw materials, rock and sand are piled in the driveway.

A piece of sheet metal was used to radius the corner in the form. Sand was packed in the void to keep the shape during the pour.

That evening I finished the top.
