Radiant Floor Heat
My big order from Heatway came in. This was enough supplies, manifolds tubing and zone valves to install radiant heat piping on the whole 2nd floor.
Below are the manifolds for the 2nd floor bedrooms.
I had to plan the copper piping layout, and solder in the manifolds, valves, drains, and vents.
The 2nd floor bathroom had separate piping running to it. Unlike the bedroom radiant floors, heat will be available all year. There are 3 separate heating water supply lines up to the 2nd floor. The bedroom floors, the bathroom floor, and the bathroom radiant ceiling and towel warmer.

Valve manifolds are hidden in the closet walls.
To start the radiant ceiling panel assembly, first the ceiling was sheathed with 3/8" plywood. The plywood will seal the top of the assembly. Regular insulation will be above. Below a layer of reflective foil bubble insulation, and the tubing held by a radiant track (aluminum extrusion)
The sheetrock will be screwed to the 5/4" sleepers shown below.
