Rear Foyer Slab

Like all the other slabs in this house, tubing for radiant heat runs throughout.

6 mil plastic sheeting for a vapor barrier is above and below the 1" rigid insulation. The rebar is installed at 1 foot centers.

For the pour, I took the day off.

The cement truck was a little late. We stuck the chute right through the window. The mix was 3,000 psi with fibers, pea gravel, and super-P. 

It flowed in nicely

John floated the surface many times.

It rained that afternoon so I had to cover up the cement with plastic.
