Side entry foyer and powder room
After the drywall was finished in this room, the floor was the next logical step on the path toward having another operational bathroom in the house. This one would have the designation during construction as the contractor's toilet.
We picked a lovely natural slate from our favorite tile store- Abbott Tile in Greenbrook. The price was reasonable and for visual effect and to make the installation more difficult, Elaine wanted to cut the tile from 12"x12" to 12"x 6" and install it in a herringbone pattern.
Gary Olson helped install it that day and night.
