Electrical Roughing

The blue plastic boxes & conduit here are for network and cable connections. The electric receptacle is metal.

the 2" conduit connects the 2nd floor attic with the entertainment center next to the fireplace in the living room for future wiring after the sheetrock is installed.

This is the lighting and switch junction boxes. Instead of wiring the lights and switches the traditional way, I did it differently. Each light was wired to the lighting junction box (JB) and the switches were wired to the switch JB. Then the 2 boxes were wired together. If I wanted to, any switch on the 2nd floor could be patched to control any light. This will give me great flexibility in the future to install a low voltage control system. I was nervous about the inspector, but he loved it. The electric work was top notch thanks to the Miceli's, Robbie Stape, and Bob Tomczyk's great help.

This fan was installed by the previous owner at the top of the old stairs. I changed the motor and it works great. That is a 48" fan. The label says 15,000 CFM @ free air.
